If I were a hunter.

I would taste a turkey.

I would be full of excitement.

I would like to kill a turkey.

I’d want to mount the world biggest turkey.

If I were a hunter.

I would find a better hunting spot.

I would wish for a good shotgun.

I would love to get better equipment.

I would listen for turkey gobbling.

I would get a double barrel shotgun.

By Gabe Crump

I would like to…fall off a tree

I’d want…rain

If I were a…leaf

I would…get shredded for compost

I would wish…I was a big leaf

I would love…to be huge

I would listen for…wind

I would…ride on a squirrel

If I were a wild turkey

I would taste the cool breeze in my feathers

I would be full of feathers

I would like to fly long distances

I’d want no one to take me for Thanksgiving dinner

If I were a wild turkey

I would like to have a thanksgiving dinner but, not to eat myself

I would wish to be king of the turkeys

I would love to eat berries

I would listen for hunters so, they won’t shoot me

I would want to gobble

By Max Iorio

If I were an ear of corn

I would taste water

I would be full of kernels and juice

I would like to be eaten

I’d want to be cooked in a boilng pot of water

If I were an ear of corn

I would be delicious

I would wish to be smeared in warm butter

I would love myself

I would listen for “LET’S EAT!”

I would be the world’s best corn!

By Sarah Wood

If I were a bird.

I would taste the seeds in my mouth.

I would be full of worms in my mouth.

I would like to go high in the air.

I’d want to look at the kids going past.

If I were a bird.

I would stand on trees.

I would wish for spring to come.

I would love to eat worms.

I would listen for kids laughing.

I would sing on a tree or a pall.

By Alexander Motsinger

If I were a… leaf;

I would taste… like a fresh batch of cookies;

I would be full of… joy to feel the wind;

I would like to… be watered everyday;

I’d want… to be raked up when I fall;

If I were a… leaf;

I would… be sitting in the trees waiting for a breeze;

I would wish… I would be a bigger leaf;

I would love… to fall from a tree;

I would listen… for the wind blowing through the holes in me;

I would… be sitting in the tree waiting for a kid.

By Garrett Greenfield

If I were a pilgrim

I would taste turkey

I would like to go hunting

I’d want more feasts

If I were a pilgrim

I would spend time with family

I would wish all the pilgrims will come to America

I would love giving

I would listen for turkeys running

I would run around and play games

If I were a black cat.

I would taste good cat food.

I would be full of love.

I would have a good life.

I want a fluffy coat.

If I were a black cat.

I would purrr.

I would wish for a cat friend.

I would love my family.

I would listen for dinner time.

I would drink my milk.

If I were a scarecrow

I would taste sweet corn

I would be full of hay

I would like to eat all the farmers corn

I would want autumn to stay longer

If I were a scare crow

I would be full of cheer

I would wish that November would always be near

I would love the sound of the wind blowing

I would listen for crows

I would scare all the crows away from my farmers field.

If I were a bare tree

I would taste like bark

I would be full of animals

I would like to be a home for a owl

I’d want a coat

If I were a bare tree

I would talk to you

I would wish for more summer

I would love water

I would listen for a hoot of an owl

I would not want to be paper

If I were a ghost

I would taste the wrath of

when it’s not Halloween

I would be full of evil

I would like to scare a person

I’d want a haunted house

If I were a ghost

I would float in the air

I would wish to rule the world

I would love to kill a person

I would listen for kids to

jump out at on Halloween

I would taste deer & turkey.

I would be full of excitement.

I would like to have a warm home.

I would want to have a feast.

If I were a scarecrow

I would taste like straw

I would be full of straw

I would like to scare crows away

I’d want to get this pole out of my back

I would keep crows away from my crops

I would wish that I was alive

I would love to be able to walk

I would listen for crows

I would be fun if I were alive
