The Clay County Public Health Center and the Smithville R-II School District will offer free swine flu vaccines from 4 to 8 p.m. at Smithville High School Monday, Nov. 9.

The H1N1 vaccines will be available to those who live within the school district and fall into one of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s high-risk groups. Those groups include pregnant women, people who live with infants younger than six months old and children ages six months to 18 years.

Parents must accompany children to receive the vaccine.

To save time, download the parental consent form and vaccine information statement online prior to the clinic at www.clayhealth.com.

As more vaccine doses become available, more clinics will be scheduled.

For more information, contact the health center at 595-4200.
