Two charged in connection with Conoco robbery PDF Print E-mail

Smithville police arrested two individuals Thursday, Oct. 8, in connection with the Tuesday, Oct. 6, robbery of the north Smithville Conoco store.

On Friday, Oct. 9, the Clay County Prosecutor’s

Office charged Conoco clerk Kori Edwards, 20, of Smithville and her friend, Cody Routon, 22, of Trimble with felony stealing in the case.

As of this past weekend, both Routon and Edwards were still being held on bond in the Clay County jail awaiting their first court appearances.
